New Member seeking replacement parts

Gentlemen;
I am rebuilding a Model 8 that was in a house fire, it is all there however the wood is scorched beyond use. I am looking for an original stock, butplate and forend. Oddly enough the rifle is in decent condition there is some heavy pitting on the front end of the barrel jacket. I would replace that to if I could find one for sale. As it stands now I will polish it the best I can and have the whole thing reblued. I will need to replace the springs since they too were near the fire and their temper is now suspect. If anyone has parts please contact me via a pm.

numrich has the new style butt plate and screws if needed, I believe there is a link in the bst threads for replacement stocks and fore grips.

You have emailed me about original wood recently. I have some parts guns for sale that you might be interested in that are complete and shooting examples. They might lend themselves to refinshing. They are priced right. Email me if you are still looking for wood and parts.
