Lyman All American Die Set

Post by Roger »

I recently purchased a Lyman All American die set in 32 Rem. Cal. I'm pretty sure it has some age on it. It's in remarkable condition for being so old. My question is what vintage is it exactly. All my die sets are pre-1990, which is when i started reloading. It's in a black cardboard,padded,2 PC. box w/gold lettering. The interior is blue velvet-like material. The original instructions are also there in the box with it. I do know that 32 rem. Factory ammo hasn't been made since before WW2. There are pictures of it on my new website. It's listed in my signature box at the bottom of all my posts now. Any help on this subject will be greatly appreciated by me.
Thanks for your time
Roger

It is my understanding these dies were first offered in the '50-'60s, but not sure how long they were made(at least the '70s). They went along with the All American press when Lyman switched from the little 310 dies to the industry standard. I have a set for 6.5 Carcano with the same packaging as yours.

Hey, thank you for the info. I was guessing it was 50's or 60's vintage by the graphics used on the box and instructions. But I was only guessing. Thanks again,
Roger
