Yes that's levers on the Alaskan scope mount. Any idea how many G&H mounts were made for the M8-81s??

Very pleased with this 35Rem... More later look for them under the other Remingtons section.

Hey a G&H mount, you don't see those too often on 8's & 81's now.

No idea how many were made, I've only seen a handful of them.

Got a note back from Griffin & Howe; they've no records of how many mounts for our rifles.
Guess What!! checked an old side mount on a Siamese Mauser (45-70) conversion. It's a Model 8 version, didn't even know what I had!! Found it in the 80s at Dean Cox's Gun shop rummaging through his parts drawers. It was Junk at the time.
Now the dilemma: Do I leave it on the Siamese or mount it on the rifle it was intended for??? The Siamese has a nice Lyman receiver sight anyway.

The Mauser's got a Lyman anyway!
Show us pics when you get the scope & mount setup on your Remington, dude!
