Guys,
I'm on vacation in New Hampshire and I have been surfing GB somewhat. For those interested, here's the link to a very nice ca.1913 Model 11 Remington 12 gauge. Best part is the price - at least at the moment. And no reserve!
I've got no stake in this, and not bidding for it, just thought a fellow Remington fan might be interested.

Hey guys, I don't know about anyone else, but this shotgun's buttstock looks alot like my 4 round knob pistol grip model 8 s buttstocks. Coincidence? I doubt it. Winchester was well known for using parts that were the same on several guns ,at the same timeframe.Looks like remington may have done it too. Jm browning was also known for designing guns that used either the same parts,or at the least very similar parts.Any opinions here?
Thanks for your time ,
Roger

Agreed - the Model 11 and the Model 8 are pretty identical in their development of stocks.
By the way, the Model 11 in question went for $206. Someone got a great deal!
