Adobe Walls

We took a trip to TX a few weeks in the Pan Handle area, I`ve always wanted to go see where Billy Dixon made that famous 1,500 yard shot.
Not much there and a 16 mile drive on mostly dirt road but cool all the same, here`s some pictures.

You were just south of me about an hour and half. I used to haul oil just south of the Adobe Walls Monument when there was a bunch of drilling going on down there. Beautiful country down thru there.
