OLD RUSTY GUN -- HOW DID IT GET THIS WAY

Gentleman,
On a more serous note you wonder how this great old Model 8 got to be in
this condition. There is no evidence of fire damage, the gun was left
out side for years ( The dealer I got it from had no info ) Did the old
hunter Die in the field was he killed by a wild beast or was it a case
of murder -- Like we all say -- IF THE OLD GUN COULD ONLY TALK !!!!
