I really want an 81 (and 8 for that matter) in .32 Remington. I like .32 as a caliber and I like being different.
Anyone hunt with theirs?

Sir, I reload and hunt with 32rem. I use it in both rem.m-8@81 s. It's a great deer caliber. Send me an email and i'll be glad to discuss it with you.

Try the Speer 170g bullet, it's about the only one you can find for now...
See some of my other posts for reload data sheet links, also try Ken Waters Pet loads. He is GOOD

Re: Does anyone here reload .32 Remington?
I reload the 32 Rem with 170 gr Hornady and Speer flatpoint bullets. Loading data is about the same as for 30-30 though the 32 can be loaded about a hundred feet faster . 32 headstamped brass is hard to come by unless salvaged from old ammo with some of that ammo collectable. 30Rem brass is easily converted to 32 by running it through the 32 resizing die. When this is done the case stretches and trimming the brass to proper overall length of 2.06 will be required. There are no case gauge trimmers available that I know of for 32 Rem so I use a 30-30 case trimmer . Chuck it in a portable drill and because it is not exact fit use care to keep the case mouth at a 90 degree angle when trimming. Of new 30 rem brass that I have processed I find that overall length is about 3 tenths too long after forming in the 32 die. Check your progress as you work with your caliper and after 20 or so you will get a feel for how much to trim.Just be sure to measure each case before trimming as it can vary.

This is an update to the post with load data I came across in one of my old Lyman manuals. As well as the 170gr jacketed it also has info on cast bullets. Please note in the text the caution to check your resized cases for max overall length. The 30 Rem brass that I used to form the 32 Rem were way over the limit.
