Oh members of the Jackitis club. I think there is G&H mount on Ebay for M8 & 81. I've not the extra cash for this just yet.

Thanks for posting this. I gave it a try but was outbid ($282.56). Did score on another G&H 7/8 inch mount that the same seller had listed . I can use with a Lyman Alaskan on a rifle other than an 8/81.

You just told me what my other G&H mount is worth. Got 2, one on the M81 cherry 35rem caliber. The other is reserved for the M8 in 32 Rem with a button on the bottom of the trigger guard. After I get the 2 swap barrels fitted and blued. I only need a 30 Rem barrel and a buffer spring to complete the set. Wish I could afford the same engraved barrels sleeves as another member, but this project will have to do for now.
