I have a Remington Model 8 chambered in .35 Remington. It has matching serial numbers that date it to being made in 1911 the first year it was named the model 8. I am looking to sell this to someone in michigan that way i dont have to deal with going through an FFL and shipping the gun. A bill of sale will be written up when the gun is sold. This rifle has been looked over by two gunsmiths who both agreed it has a clean smooth bore and the firing pin is working just fine they both said this gun can be used for hunting this upcoming season. It is missing the butt plate cover, the stock is in good condition no large cracks in it. I have a standing offer at a gunshop for $400, the owner told me he plans on selling it for $650-$750.
