John Browning, a model 8 and an elk

Don't know if you fellows have seen this picture but I just stumbled onto this interesting picture of John Browning with a model 8 and a nice elk.

Just for follow up that photo is posted in the frontspiece of the great Remington 8 book by John Henwood. To quote the text with the photo.....John Moses Browning, center with his skinning knife at the ready and his brother Mathew on the right after a successfull elk hunt in ths Jackson hole area of Wyoming about 1910 The rifle shown is John Brownings personal .35 caliber remngton Autoloading rifle. Wish Iknew what the serial number was!

Here is a link to a post of mine in the history section of the forum above of a few more pics of this seriesof John and his brother Matt's elk hunt. I agree it is really cool John and Matt both are using Model 8's designed by John which is so cool.
