Havn`t heard that. Do know it has been hard to find from any of the manufacturers. Cabelas has Hornady Leverevolution for $31.99 a box of 20 plus $8.95 shipping.Ouch!!! Buying the available factory stuff in any caliber other than 22 LR and 22 Magnum is not something I`m familiar with so the only shortage I`m concerned with are reloading components. There are other 35 caliber rifles besides our 35 Rem so bullets will be available regardless what Remington decides to do with the 35 Remington. If you don`t reload then the time to start is now. If more than two bucks a bang with the available 35 Rem doesn`t convince you don`t know what would. Oh yes if you have some deep pockets I see that they(Cabelas) has Buffalo Bore in 35 Rem too. With shipping you can go plinking with your Model 8/81 for only $3.50 a bang. What a deal!!

Sarge,
Good point for us to reload.
If you think those are high try buying 460S&W or 300 Rem Ultra Mag.
They will put a real kink in your wallet.

I plan to build a reloading bench this summer coming and open up my Lee Anniversary Kit.

Ten Ring,
Get a tackle box with those plastic sort boxes that fit in; it's great for those scorching summer days and the freezing winter nights.
Sit in front of the TV and reload to your hearts content.
The Lee hand held press has enough leverage for most jobs.
I just need to find a hand held powder measure that is accurate. Lee dippers are poor substitutes.
A MTM e-scale works great too.

I recall a friend getting a "powder trickler" many years ago and loving it.
I will have to get rid of some basement furniture to fit the reloading table but I'm not really using that old dresser anyway. Habitat for Humanity is my chosen charity when it clearing out rooms.
