Very Informative Forum!

Post by xtimberman »

Thank you all for providing a 'site for shooters and collectors to self-educate themselves on the iconic Model-8. I had one in .32 Rem. >25 years ago but let it go when it became a PITA to find ammo or brass. I recently acquired a deluxe M-8 in .35 Rem. which has a trio of minor issues to deal with before I can load some cartridges and shoot it. Looking forward to learning some useful tips from you folks on here...and have already taken advantage of the library of downloads.

I'm not a collector per se, but do have a small accumulation of classic Remingtons that I shoot, carry, or hunt with: this Model-8 .35, a Model-14 1/2 .44, a Model-51 .380, and a Remington-Hepburn .40 single shot.

Regards,

welcome John, beware this site is contagious, as are our ladies. The ladies just love friends in the same closet. ;)
Therefore you end up with a family instead of a single adoption.
I do have a soft spot for most of the Browning designed pieces. And, yes we do like pics, and sharing the knowhow. :geek:
