Re: my gang
The 35 is personally engraved for a mr. Holt Massey, he was the president of american life co. in waco tx. the 32 was the last one i got to make the set of all calibers, first 30 is the one with the different safety, the 30 with the peep sight was my grandpas, i got my first deer with it in 1954, the bottom 30 was my wifes grandpas, it was issued to him in 1922 after he enlisted in the Texas Rangers, co b. private, special rangers, the bottom is a nice 25, i have shot them all, we never h ad telescopes as a kid, my father in law told me the old man that was the ranger could shoot, he saw hiw hit turkey's in flight with the 30 rem.

Hello, Thanks for sharing the pictures of your rifle's. You have a very nice collection, with some great history.

Great looking bunch of rifles there! The 30cal with the modified safety is not a custom Willette job, but it's cool nonetheless!
I'd love to see the engraving on that 35!
If only those rifles could talk

Wow! What a nice collection of interesting Model-8s! ...every caliber, too!
Great family gun history. I would love to hear more of the stories!
(...and I thought M1 Garand accumulators were the only ones with that compulsion to "get just one more!")
