I bought this thinking it was an 81 butt stock and won't be home for a couple of weeks. After looking at a couple of 81's on GB i see there are two screws in the bottom tang ,my stock only has one hole and the buttplate looks identical to the 81. What do you think

while the 81 tang has two screws only one goes into the wood. The other screw is for the spring plate.

It is most likely an 81 stock, IMHO.
