New forum member. Bought another Model 81 in 300 Savage,this one with a Redfield rear peep sight.Have not shot it yet.I like to take them apart and give them a good cleaning and lube.The bore is very minty but the outside of the poor rifle has surface rust that has resulted in some pitting overall,wood is very nice with some figure. Appears to be a standard "A" grade.

Have some Model 8s in 30-35 rem and some Model 14s.

welcome aboard! I absolutely love the 300 Savage cartridge. 35Rem used to be my favorite but I think I've switched!
