Southern Storms - hope all are OK 2.24.16

Folks,
just wanted to see if y'all might check in if you are in the southern states/up to maryland - from Florida on up, today's severe storms did some damage. Talked with my parents in Punta Gorda FLA and they said two twisters hit near where they were today, but everything was fine.
Here in Alexandria VA, I've never heard the tornado sirens go off before, and they did this 4 times in about 40 minutes.
Guys, chime in - want to know!
