Well I would like to introduce myself. I am Bryan from CT. I recently retired from the Navy (22 years). I have always been a collector of weapons, but I have never really knew of this gun. Until the other day I was walking threw Cabela's and saw one and thought... Hummm that is an interesting looking gun. So I went home to read up on it... Well to make a long story short.... I went back today to buy it... $339. I will attach some pics. I am not sure if I got a good deal, but I was happy with it. I just finished taking it all apart (except the bolt) and cleaning it. Seems to function great, and I will be taking it to the range next week to give her a little dance. I would be interested to hear what you think, seeing how I really don't know that much about this great looking gun... yet.

September 1927 gun! She looksl like a shooter for sure. Plus that Marbles tang sight setup is worth some $$$

A grand Lady :D
I think you got a great deal, even if you have to replace some worn/broke parts, and the Marbles tang sight sweetens the deal. One of my favorite calibers too.
