I purchased a barrel nut removal tool from ROBOPUMP and this thing works great. This tool made removal easy. one handed and is a solidly built tool. The best part is tip can be re-ground time after time, if you have to. The hardened steel tip should last defiantly. Yes I made an eye bolt and punch tool which worked fine but left me wishing I made a third hand. Thanks ROBOPUMP job well done.

Yes I felt the same way after I made this and used it so I drilled a second hole in the end of the eye.
This was tapped to 10-32 to accept a 10-32 dog point set screw 5/8 in long. Dog point had to be filed down just a bit with a small file to fit in barrel nut hole. Just chucked set screw in the Dewalt and it only took and minute to get the job done.
Now just a 2 handed job.
