I won the auction for this barrel on eBay and it has some issues. The seller insisted he wasn't aware of any and seemed like he was being honest, but it was obvious that he wasn't going to accept a return.
Here is the issues imo: the barrel threads for the barrel nut got scored and the barrel nut was cranked off, the threads were cut back, and now a barrel nut will not thread on. I have one that does go n a bit further then another one. The other issue is that the pin in the barrel extension is sheared off. I got it out but the parts will not come apart. I have drilled a 3/32 inch hole where the pin was but will not go any further.\
This barrel has a decent bore and maybe someone here can use it for a project. I'd rather sell it here as non working parts then on eBay, where I had it listed. I have about $100 in it, and if I got $75.00 + $10.00 shipping out of it I'd be content. Ebay has been good to me so I have no ill feelings, and I do not need this part. Well it seems this barrel has a ringed bulge just before the muzzle. This might explain why the barrel nut will not go on. This barrel would be good candidate for a carbine modification. I also relisted it on eBay as there was not any feedback here.
