forearm pre-8 8s and 81s the same

i need a forearm for a pre 8 in 25-35 are thy the same from calibre to calibre are the holes spaced different from pre to 8s to 81s.
The barrel jackets are the same caliber wise, so I'd assume the forearms are too. The model 81 has a different forearm takedown screw then the model 8, and has larger threads.
Macon Gun Stocks sells replacement wood, I don't have a link to them.
