Krieger Remington model 81 in local gun store

I was poking around some of my local gun stores and ran across a Remington model 81 that had the Krieger conversion detachable magazine. The rifle was in nice shape, but the shop wanted $8500 for it!

I have some beachfront property in Arizona for sale too, cheap. Image

It's theirs and they can sell it for whatever they want, but there's no way I'd ever pay that. Of course I too have a M81 I'd be happy to sell for $8500. Image PM me!

That seems high, even for a POE Model 81
