OEM Magazine fit

I have a 1910 Model 8 in .35 Rem...the magazine type is 'single leaf/lip';
can someone tell me if i Could use any model 8 mag type in this rifle ?
ie, two leaf ... no leaf ??

Just found your post.. comparing my model 8 single spring to model 81 double spring I would say they will not interchange..81 has a cut in the trigger group plate in both sides similar to the one on the left side of the model 8 to accommodate the thickness of the spring. the barrel lock mechanism inside the rifle has a cut for fitting the spring as well.

I don't see why you couldn't use any of the 3 variations, given you modify the trigger guard to accept left/right side springs.

I assume the original poster is long gone.

Or just get a trigger guard cut for the double springs....
