I was under the impression the only difference between model 8 and 81 were the wood. However I have a 1939 model 81 apart. I found that the firing pin is broken and there is a mangled firing pin spring. Are the bolt dimensions the same? and will firing pins interchange? Thank you the one that's broken is slim { one size all the way} and the one available is tapered. Thank you.

Guess i can answer my own question..Firing pin came today. It does fit. firing pin return spring had to be shortened to the proper length, as the firing pin thickens part way up.
