Early Lyman AT sight.

Hey guys,
I have a early Model 8 in 32 with a Lyman AT sight which has a patent mark from 1907. It had some issues so I always had an eye out for parts or complete replacement. I found a unmarked Lyman sight on eBay and took a chance that it was the right sight, oddly no patent mark. It does fit the rifle it’s in excellent condition but I’m curious if anyone has any background info. It’s slightly less refined than the one it replaced.
