My first 81 chambered in 35

Here's a teaser to a new aquisition.
What we have here is a 81 from 1948 with a Redfield peep in the classic 35 Remington. The condition of the blue is the best I have on any spring-pole. The wood is very nice also. Doing a full clean up will have to wait, everything feels good with it though. Once that happens it'll be Range Day.
Here's to the not so clean part of it. I don't believe it's been apart since new "atleast the shroud", none of the screws are buggered up anywhere. The barrel nut and bushing came off with ease
. The inner workings of the of the shroud show it was certainly time for some maintenance!
There was 2 things this gun needed upon arrival, fortunately I had them in my small stock of parts. I had to put on a sight blank and a sling loop on the barrel to top this gun off.
More to come eventually.
