Hello well I finally got time to break down my grandfather’s model 8, that he left me after his passing.
I don’t think he ever cleaned it, what a mess inside.
The rifle is pretty ruff but still shoots. Bad news is barrel lock spring is broken. does anyone know where I can get a barrel lock spring or the whole barrel lock? Any help would be much appreciated thanks and happy new year everyone!!

Ho dang forgot to tell the manufacturer date is January 1929

Guess no one is home. Hopefully local gunsmith can make a spring so I can put the old girl back together.
