Been reading about the Remington Model 8 lately and decided to pick one up at my local gun store. They had five but I selected the only .35 Rem they had. When I got home, I was thrilled to find that it was an early 1906 manufacture (sub 400 SN) with a Lyman tang sight hidden inside the butt stock. I spoke to the seller about it and he was definitely surprised about both discoveries. Looks like I made out like a bandit. Planning on putting a few rounds through it later this week.
