Hey fellas, While attending the Tulsa gunshow, I was fortunate enough to acquire an FN1900. I’ll get some pictures taken, and submit some more information about it.

Here's a quick photo of Roger's FN 1900. Rare enough and without the rib.

Re: New to me:FN1900
Well guys, here’s the story. Last November at the Tulsa show, I walked away from the opportunity to buy one of Bob Creamers FN1900s. I bought some Winchesters instead, and I’ve been sorry ever since. So this summer, I contacted Corey about it and he said he would talk to his Dad to see if he had any more that he would sell me. Thanks to the Creamers kindness and friendship, I came back from this Tulsa Show with #2105. It’s a beautiful example without the solid rib on the barrel, which I’m told is more scarce. This is like a dream come true,to own one of Bobs rifles. I couldn’t be happier to own another FN. When I got my first one, I truly believed that that one would be the only one I’d ever get. Having the Creamer family as my friends is very rewarding.

Looks like a beauty Roger. I bet it will shoot as good as it looks. Looking forward to seeing more photos.

We all have different opinions and that's good, but for me the FN 1900 is the "creme de la creme" of any 8/81 collection. The one you got is a BEAUT!

Congratulations on your 2nd 1900. Cool that you now you have one of each barrel variation.
Look forward to pictures.

The FN1900 really is like potato chips - you can never have just one!
Looks like a nice one - congrats!
Now, don't take this wrong fellows and not to take away form this beautiful example but, I have to say that in my experience (of owning 10 FN1900 rifles) I disagree that the plain barrel is more common than the ribbed - I have encountered more without the rib than with.
And, personally, I find the ribbed barrel FNs much more handsome
That said, any 1900 is a prize to be proud of!

Hey guys,Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments. And Ranman, you are entitled to your opinion for sure. I think that the plain barrel version is less common here in the USA, but maybe not so much in Canada. Who knows. I do know that mine came from one of the premier collections in the USA. The Creamer family has been very good to me and I surely appreciate it.
