7 Buttplates

Post by Hibby83 »

Howdy gents.

Today I took some photos of the different Model 8 butt variations. I've been meaning to do this for awhile , and I finally got to it!

It wasn't my intention to get them all when I first started collecting the autoloader. I lucked out in the beginning, it wasn't until I had 4/5 different variations that I realized that I should go for it.

Nice pair Tony! Wood grain on the buttstocks appears to be better than the average.

Luke I note the top toe plate, It's almost as hard to find as the military "S" curve plate. Just don't have one any more. It was on a rough 25Rem. Got traded for a Inglis with a wooden holster. I do believe I absconded 8-) with the holster & assorted goodies. I'm fond of Browning stuff too ;) , just can't afford the bottom line.
