Model 8 C-Grade

Here is a new addition to my collection I just picked up a week ago and it arrived today. I was very happy when I opened it up. It's in decent condition for a 1930 made gun. The bluing is quite nice and checkering is to. Could have had some added finish in it's life but very light if at all.
I first looked under forearm for any stampings but there were none but I guess that is fairly common in higher grade 8s'. I was pleasantly surprised when I took off butt plate and it was stamped with a 3 and the serial number 62099. Then I took off stock and both upper and lower tangs were marked with a 3 and serial number. The wood where tangs fit was marked as well.
A nice C-Grade model 8 in the powerful 35 rem from around 1930 that has been well kept. I will post a bunch of pictures so hope you enjoy them and thanks for looking. John Taylor
