Hey guys, My dear friends Dan and Bob Glenn came to visit me in Central Iowa. For those who don’t know,this is Minnesota Dan here on the forum. We had a great day looking over guns,talking about their history,telling stories, just generally hanging out in my gun room. My collection is thinning out now,having sold many pieces. But it was great to see my old friends. They are truly amazing people. And I think we get along so well because they grew up in Southern Iowa, just like me. At my age now, I don’t get to see and talk to as friends,because a lot of them are now deceased. Enjoy whatever time you get with your friends,because it doesn’t last forever.

It’s great when you have a collection of stuff guns, fishing stuff or whatever but no one local who appreciates it like you and then you have old friends from afar visit that appreciate same stuff!!! You never run out of stuff to talk about and share.

I know Bob and Luke were just here for a visit and we had a great time swapping stories and lies lol!!
