32 Rem unmarked barrel - nice - trade for 35/300

Post by Adam Lee »

Hey guys.
I've had this unmarked early Model 8 barrel chambered in .32 Rem laying around intended for a project for years. I believe I got this from Carl or Roger years ago, may have been part of a long-forgotten trade, I just can't recall. Anyway according to what I've read in the Henwood book the very earliest barrels were unmarked in caliber - the roll marking on the barrel extension - and this only has a lot number or inspection stamp "Y 19" near the breech end. I know it's a .32 Rem, that's the bore dimension, and it is a very nice bore to boot. Here's a few pics.
I'd like to straight out trade it for either a .35 Rem or a .300 Savage barrel for another 8/81 project.

Thanks for looking!
