Uncommon C grade checkering

Awhile back I realized that my checkering differed on the underside of buttstock at the wrist. I have my only other C grade beside it showing the difference.

The rifle checks out in all aspects as a C grade, serial #55434. It is far from my best condition 8, but it's a rifle that would be one of the last to leave my collection. I spent a lot of time making the rifle run correct and developing loads for it. Of all my autoloaders this one has been shot the most!

Anyone else's C grade match my pattern on the underside of the buttstock?

Thanks 9.3shooter. I like the the well worn C grade just as much as much or more than high condition one.

C grade on left is a 32 Rem from 1927.
C grade on right is a 35 Rem from 1910
