Looks great! Thanks for sharing. Hard to beat sight setup for accuracy and ease of adjustment.
Wonder the story on how it made it's way over the ocean. Neat to ponder theories!

Sir, that is a very nice looking M8 Remington. It would definitely be interesting to know the story of how and why it got to France. Have you gotten a chance to see if the model eight recoil spring will work in your FN? I’m just curious.
Thanks for your time
Roger

Hello
Yes, I have tried my .32 Rem Buffer Spring from my model 8 in my Browning FN1900 .35 caliber. It works just fine ! Remington Core Lokt 200 Grns cartridges and some personal reloads up to 2100fps with Sierra pro-hunter 200grns and Vectan Tubal 3000
Here is my Browning shooting with Model 8 .32 Buffer Spring

I have made some video and I can see that the barrel make the total travel with the bolt, which can't be made just in pushing a brass rod trough the barrel against the bolt face. So it means to me that the Buffer Spring go probably to complete compression during the shoot. Perhaps my .32 Buffer Spring is less strong than a original .35. My 32 is 2,11 long, 0,87 as diam ext. and 0,61 as diam int.
Here is my Rem Model 8 32 Buffer Spring. I have to find a other BS...
