Forgive me all for my constant posting. But I have serious feelings for these old workhorses. My model 8 was made in April of 1929, and is an honest 2 MOA rifle, with nary a malfunction as yet. As Mitch can attest after owning this rifle, it is a cobbled together POS that is missing a few parts, and was treated like s%$#. With all that going against it, she is still 100% reliable, and pretty damn accurate!
