Jack gave me the link and I'm glad he did. I just started reading a little bit and know I have many days worth of great info and experience ahead of me on this forum. Glad to be here.

Welcome aboard. I am glad that you took the time to look us up. You can post anything here about your Remington and if you have questions, there are bunch of knowledgable guys who have answers and advice about these Remington's. I would be remiss if I didn't ask for you post pictures of your rifle if you get a chance.
I do hope that the tang screw that you ordered will be here in time for your deer season. If you bag one with that old remington, be sure to send in a picture so others can enjoy.
